LinkedIn Post Scheduling and Publishing

Our application allows authorized users to create and schedule posts for publication on a LinkedIn account or LinkedIn Page that they are authorized to manage.

When a user connects LinkedIn, the user is redirected to LinkedIn to review and approve the permissions requested by the application. After approval, LinkedIn provides an access token that enables the application to publish the user's scheduled content.

The LinkedIn access token is stored securely within our server-side n8n automation environment. It is never exposed to the user's browser and is used only to publish content that has been authorized and scheduled by the connected user.

We process and temporarily store only the information required to provide the scheduling and publishing service, including:

  • Post text or captions.
  • Images, videos, documents or other media submitted for publication.
  • Scheduled publication date, time and timezone.
  • Selected LinkedIn account or LinkedIn Page.
  • Publishing status, LinkedIn post identifier and technical error information, where applicable.

We do not use the LinkedIn integration to collect LinkedIn connections, contact lists, private messages, comments, reactions, recruitment information, lead information or unrelated profile data.

Data Retention

Scheduled post content, associated media, publishing records, LinkedIn post identifiers and technical error information may be retained for up to six (6) months from the date the post is published, cancelled or last processed. This information is retained solely for post management, troubleshooting, security, audit and duplicate-publishing prevention purposes.

Information may be deleted earlier when it is no longer required or when an authorized user submits a valid deletion request, unless continued retention is required by applicable law or is reasonably necessary for resolving disputes, investigating misuse or protecting the security of the service.

LinkedIn Access Tokens

LinkedIn access tokens are stored securely within our server-side n8n automation environment only while the LinkedIn integration remains connected and the token remains valid. Access tokens are deleted, disabled or made unusable when the user disconnects the integration, revokes authorization, closes the relevant account or when the token expires and is no longer required.

User Control and Data Deletion

We do not sell LinkedIn information or use it for recruitment, sales prospecting, lead enrichment, profiling or unrelated advertising.

Users may disconnect their LinkedIn integration through the application or revoke the application's access through their LinkedIn account settings. Once access is revoked or the integration is disconnected, the application will no longer publish posts through that LinkedIn connection, and the associated access token will be deleted, invalidated or made unusable within our n8n environment.

Users may also request deletion of their scheduled post content and connected LinkedIn information by contacting us at [email protected]
